TULSA — A Tulsa man was killed Friday during a multi-vehicle crash on the Gilcrease Expressway, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol said.
Troopers said Patrick Briscoe, 56, of Tulsa was driving south on the expressway when his vehicle was struck on the right side by a vehicle driven by 33-year-old Michael Drueppel of Tulsa, who was driving east on the eastbound U.S. 412 ramp.
Briscoe’s car departed the roadway to the left and came to rest off of the roadway. Drueppel’s vehicle departed the roadway to the right, rolled and struck a third vehicle in the northbound lanes of the Gilcrease Expressway, driven by Juan Hill, 29, of Edmond.
Briscoe was injured and his condition is unknown at this time. Hill was not injured.
OHP’s Traffic Homicide Unit is an investigating the crash and the agency stressed the information shared is preliminary.
The Tulsa Fire Department, Tulsa Fire Department, Tulsa County Sheriff’s Police, Berryhill Fire Protection District and EMSA also responded to the scene.
