Tulsa police have identified the person killed early Sunday in a shooting that occurred at the Center of the Universe area in downtown Tulsa.
Serenity McAdoo, 18, an Inola native, died at the hospital after the car she was riding in that was leaving the area was struck by bullets.
Tulsa police responded to reports of shots fired at 2:55 a.m. around 1 S. Boston Ave. where several young adults were hanging out. Police believe there was an altercation between 2 groups of people, and as one of the groups took off in a car, the other group fired several rounds at them.
Several rounds struck One Williams Center building at the intersection of 1st Street and Boston Avenue, police said.
The Tulsa Police Department is still actively investigating the shooting. Anyone with information should call Tulsa Crime Stoppers at 918-596-COPS.
