Union Public Schools will begin transitioning some school sites back to in-person learning on Thursday based on the ability to appropriately staff.
Beginning Thursday, Jan. 20, these nine schools will go back to in-person learning: Cedar Ridge, Clark, McAuliffe and Peters Elementary and the Early Childhood Education Center, as well as Union 8th Grade, the Freshman Academy, Union High School and Alt Ed.
The district will look at adding other schools next Monday. Due to a severe shortage of bus drivers, there will be no transportation on Thursday and Friday for grades 10-12, including Alt Ed. The district will continue to evaluate and provide an update on Thursday.
