A Broken Arrow man was killed Tuesday evening when his motorcycle collided with another vehicle on S. Elm Place just south of W. Kenosha St.
Ron A. Ralston, 56, was pronounced dead at a local hospital after the accident that occurred around 8 p.m. near the intersection of Elm and Iola Street. Ralston was traveling southbound on Elm and collided with a passenger car attempting to turn north onto Elm from a private drive.
The single occupant of the vehicle was not injured, and at this time police do not believe intoxicants were a factor for either driver.
The Broken Arrow Police Department’s traffic unit will continue its investigation to determine if there were other contributing factors to the collision.
This marks at least the second motorcyclist death in Broken Arrow in the past month. This collision also happened about 500 feet north of another fatal accident that happened in August involving a car and semi-truck that killed a young woman.
