A Broken Arrow animal rescue group is devastated after discovering its event trailer was recently stolen.
The event trailer, shared between Memphis Street Animal Rescue and KW Realty’s Logistics Home Team, was likely stolen Friday night from behind a shopping center. The trailer housed tables, pop up tents, chairs, giveaway items, misting fans, a generator and games for events, along with several dog crates.
The trailer, which had a tongue lock on it, was discovered missing at 6 a.m. Friday. The group has filed a police report and is checking with the landlord to see if any surveillance cameras captured the theft.
“This is a huge blow to both groups,” MSAR said in Facebook post. “I pray no one ever does something to cause a gut wrenching feeling like we had that morning because no one deserves that.”
Memphis Street Animal Rescue is a Broken Arrow-based non- profit run by local real estate agents, business owners and an Army veteran who are passionate about animals and giving back to the community.
