Due to the lack of ridership, Tulsa Transit and the City of Broken Arrow have decided to reduce the amount of daily Express trips.
Route 902 and 909 will be combined to create the new 900 Express Route starting Monday, April 4.
It’s the same route as the 909, which maintains service to the pickup point at Union but no longer services the Indian Springs pickup.
Tulsa Transit adjusted the timing to best service those who had used the earlier 902 and 909 trips. The first AM trip to downtown will be at 6:50 a.m., and the last AM drop-off to downtown is still around 7:40 a.m.
The first PM trip from downtown is at 5:10 p.m., and the last trip from downtown is at 6:08 p.m. These changes and new service will begin April 3, 2022.
Be on the lookout for a new vehicle as well. The existing 40 passenger buses will be replaced with a Dodge Pro Master that holds 10 passengers and includes ADA accessibility. See below for the routes and timing for pickups.
