Dirt should be moving on the new Reasor’s grocery store in south Broken Arrow this fall, City Manager Michael Spurgeon said Tuesday.
The developer of the project recently requested an earth change permit and once the bidding process is done some construction activity should be seen in October or November, he said.
Spurgeon said he hopes to be meeting with Reasor’s officials and the developer in early October to discuss plans for updating the public on the project.
Spurgeon also revealed that some national retailers have signed letters of intent to join Reasor’s at Aspen Ridge, a $40 million mixed-use development at Aspen Avenue just north of the Creek Turnpike.
In April, two national food retailers and a convenience store had shown significant interest.
