Just catching up on the news? Here’s a roundup of the popular stories for the month of November appearing in the Broken Arrow Sentinel.
It was a very busy month in the news, as Bell’s Amusement Park announced plans to rebuild its facility in Broken Arrow. A Broken Arrow mother launched a petition drive to get domestic violence laws changed after her son, a landlord, was shot and killed in September by a tenant.
A Broken Arrow police officer was also shot during an incident this month, although he survived and the gunman was later found dead.
Broken Arrow was also made proud this month, as the Pride of Broken Arrow came home from the Bands of America Grand Nationals with the overall championship, clocking in with a record score with their performance.
