Two people were killed Friday night in Bixby during a shooting in front of a shopping complex that resulted from a domestic dispute, the Bixby Police Department said.
At 8:30 p.m., an owner of a local business met with an acquaintance. She was leaving the South Plaza Center at Memorial Drive near E. 131st Street South with the acquaintance when a second male blocked their car with his vehicle, said Bixby Police Department spokesman Seth Adcock.
The domestic argument turned violent and the woman was shot by the male, who then turned the gun on himself.
Bixby police are conducting the investigation with the assistance of the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation.
