Since 1983, Camp Bandage has provided safety awareness and education to the community in a fun and informative way. This year’s event will be held at Central Park, 1500 S. Main St., in Broken Arrow.
“Year after year, Camp Bandage stands as a powerful testament to the passion and dedication of everyone who helps bring it to life,” said Camp Bandage Director Kurt Klein. “Never forget — what you learn here could save a life.”
The Broken Arrow police and fire departments, as well as more than 100 other law enforcement and non-profit organizations, will help to educate young children and families about how to prevent accidents and what to do in an emergency.
“Camp Bandage is more than just an event- it’s a heartfelt mission fueled by the dedication of so many incredible people who believe in making a difference,” said Paul Gerner. “It’s a legacy my parents began, and it’s an honor to carry it forward.”
BAPD, BAFD, and Tulsa Life Flight will walk participants through various emergencies, including a mock car collision to end the day.
The annual event is free to attend and open to the public, plus there will be FREE food and FREE giveaways! To learn more, please visit www.campbandage.org
