One person was killed during an accident Wednesday morning on Elm Place just south of Kenosha Street in Broken Arrow.
The incident happened on Elm Place near Greeley Street. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol arrived on scene later to assist, along with Broken Arrow firefighters and city crews.
Police were called to the scene around 6:30 a.m. and found the collision between a semi and a passenger car. Investigators said 34-year-old Taylor Thesenvitz was driving a 2010 Mitsubishi Galant southbound on Elm Place when she drove left of the center line and struck the northbound semi, according to Broken Arrow police.
Thesenvitz was pronounced dead at the scene. The semi driver reportedly was not injured. Elm Place is back open to regular traffic. Police say investigation of the crash is still ongoing.
