A 38-year-old man from Wagoner died Friday in a two-car crash in Rogers County, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.
The accident happened at 12:22 p.m. Fatality collision occurred on County Road S 4200 at County Road E 600, approximately 1 mile south of Inola.
OHP said Koy Woodward was driving his Chevrolet Silverado west on CR 600 and failed to yield at a stop sign. His truck was hit on the passenger side by a freightliner driven by 44-year-old Christopher Edmondson of Oklahoma City.
Woodward was transported by Pafford EMS to Hillcrest Hospital in Claremore and pronounced deceased by medical personnel. Edmundson was not injured. OHP said Woodward was not wearing a seatbelt and airbags in his vehicle did not deploy.
The Rogers County Sheriff’s Office, Inola Police Department and Inola Fire Department assisted at the scene.
Josh says
The airbags did deploy …pretty sure he had a seatbelt on too.
